Role Overview:

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a highly skilled Finance Transactions Officer to join their team on a full-time basis for 6 months. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for processing creditor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and managing credit and debit balances.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, handling purchase ledger tasks, raising and reconciling purchase orders and sales invoices, and providing support to internal and external stakeholders. You will also be responsible for administering insurance claims, supporting annual renewal processes, and posting direct debit payments and housing benefit payments from councils.

To be successful in this role, you will require experience in purchase ledger accounting, proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office, with an ability to use and develop Excel spreadsheets. Familiarity with finance systems such as Open Accounts and Active H is desirable but not essential.

Working Environment:

This role offers the opportunity to work for a values-led organisation in the Burnley area, partnering with a leading company that employs over 700 staff. You will be part of a dynamic team, working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Salary Information:

We are offering a salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary reflecting the skills and qualifications required for this role.
