Job Overview:

Dialight is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations. This role plays a crucial part in developing and maintaining good relationships with manufacturing plants, 3PL, and EMEA customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Design and implement logistics plans that align with business objectives.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure the right amount of stock is available to meet customer demands without excessive surplus.
  • Implement inventory control procedures and monitor adherence.

Procurement and Sourcing:

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and terms.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Oversee the transportation of goods from Dialight manufacturing plants to 3PL and from 3PL to customers as well as customers collections when the customer is on EXW terms.
  • Coordinate and monitor logistics operations including warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes and tracking system.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure that all supply chain and logistics operations comply with laws and regulations.
  • Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.

Technology Utilization:

  • Implement and manage supply chain management software and tools.
  • Leverage technology to optimize supply chain processes and data analysis.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) is an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., INFOR, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.

Analytical and Soft Skills:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make strategic decisions.
  • Experience with data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
