Job Description

The Head of Building Management is responsible for leading the assurance of the Defence Digital Delivery Portfolio of Programmes and Projects. This role works in conjunction with Senior Responsible Officers, Delivery Directors, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Defining Portfolio Standards: Develop and maintain standards for Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management for Digital Delivery across Defence, including the implementation and sharing of P3M best practice.
  • Championing Digital Portfolio: Provide overall lead and direction for the implementation of the Digital portfolio across the organisation.
  • Collaboration with Digital Strategy: Work with Digital Strategy, Planning, and demand teams to ensure Technical and Business roadmaps are reflected in the Portfolio.
  • Expert Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance, support, and insight on the Digital Delivery Portfolio, Programmes, and Projects, acting as the source of all project information and metrics.
  • Driving Insight and Action: Drive insight and action across the Digital Delivery Portfolio, ensuring the Portfolio delivers impact across Defence by using Data and MI to add insight, coherence, and value.
