Job Title: Digital Head of Delivery

Join Pearson UK as a Digital Head of Delivery and play a vital role in the General Qualifications Programme Management Office team. This is a challenging and varied position that requires a versatile individual who can balance conflicting demands, priorities, and topics to achieve overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and delivery of both existing and new General Qualification delivery models.
  • Manage risks and issues within the relevant qualification, coordinating teams and enabling collaborative problem-solving.
  • Create and manage delivery schedules for the operational business calendar.
  • Support fellow delivery managers in the delivery of other qualification suites as needed.
  • Manage issues and incidents to ensure successful delivery.
  • Produce and improve reporting and visibility for key stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve key operational metrics and performance indicators.
  • Manage lessons learned gathering, assessment, and action plan implementation.
  • Manage competing priorities.
  • Change/Project Management.
  • Support delivery-related projects to achieve the benefits expected in the business case.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled in stakeholder management at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to constructively challenge the status quo.
  • Experience leading teams and driving decision-making in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to digest new subject matter quickly and distill key factors relevant to success.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities and requirements.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex topics succinctly.
