About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team at Orchard Close, providing a respite service for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As a residential support professional, you will play a key role in providing personalised support, enabling individuals to engage in meaningful activities during their stay with us.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A strong understanding of the needs of the client group and experience of working with them to achieve independence.
  • Experience of enabling and providing care in a respite or residential service environment, an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for building positive relationships with individuals, their families, and carers, as well as other professionals and colleagues.
  • Strong IT and accurate information recording skills.

What We Offer:

A comprehensive induction programme, training to undertake an NVQ (level 2 or 3) in a care-related subject, and opportunities for personal development and career progression.

This is a 24/7 service, and as a member of our team, you will be required to work a shift pattern, including every other weekend and a variety of shifts, including early, late, and sleep-in shifts.
