Administrative Officer

The Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Officer to join our team in the Department of Psychological Services. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Centralized Clerical Support: The successful candidate will work closely with the DPS Clerical Officers to provide efficient and effective clerical services, including managing outpatient referrals, booking appointments, and typing clinic letters.
- Ensure Data Quality: You will be responsible for monitoring data quality reports and taking corrective action where necessary to maintain the highest level of accuracy in the Patient Administration System.
- Manage Patient Treatment Lists: The post holder will monitor the RTT Patient Treatment List to ensure patients are seen within the required Trust targets, identifying any issues and raising them with the Services Lead and Admin Supervisor.

Requirements:- Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent, IT qualification, and relevant administrative experience gained in a hospital setting.
