Senior Nursery Manager

About the Role
As a Senior Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, educational, and enjoyable environment for children. Your duties will include supervising children, ensuring their safety, and organizing activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks.
You will join a dedicated team passionate about providing care, warmth, and kindness. The nursery is purpose-built and Ofsted registered for up to 104 children, from 3 months to five years.

About You
A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required. Key skills and attributes include:
- Solid background in effectively managing nursery settings
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, staff members, and parents
- Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities
- Positive outlook to keep children happy and build a secure, rewarding environment
- Conducting interviews for potential applicants
- Developing and maintaining the nursery budget
- Arranging marketing materials
- Monitoring the condition of the facility and equipment, organizing maintenance, repairs, and new items as required
- Updating parents and carers about their child's progress and behavior
- Answering enquiries about enrolment, payments, and practices
- Developing and implementing an age-appropriate programme of annual events and activities
- Preparing the nursery for Ofsted inspections and following inspector recommendations
