Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join our team at HR Employment Bureau Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely communication with customers and suppliers, and managing the booking process for internal and external transport systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the movement of goods, including booking jobs onto internal transport systems and arranging transport to and from Europe and further overseas.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with customers and suppliers, including submitting export declarations and sending clearance instructions for imports.
  • Verify the accuracy of customer paperwork prior to booking and organize shipments from start to finish.
  • Raise quotations to new and existing customers and colleagues, utilizing strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Proactive personality and team player with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to answer phone and emails in a professional manner and maintain attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of Incoterms and customs clearance, with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a freight forwarding role is highly desirable.
