About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and respectful transportation for patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients with mental health needs to and from appointments, treatment centers, and other destinations
  • Provide a safe and respectful environment for patients during transportation
  • Use de-escalation techniques and physical intervention skills as necessary to manage challenging situations
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with at least 12 months driving experience
  • Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a team
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
