Job Title: Children's Complex Care Nurse

Location: Nottingham

Shifts: Nights, Tuesday to Friday

Pay Rates: Competitive rates including holiday pay

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Nurse to join our team in Nottingham. As an 'Outstanding' CQC-rated care provider, we deliver bespoke care and support to young people enabling them to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies and take trips into their local community.

We are looking for a Paediatric Nurse with UK-based complex care experience to work with a 17-year-old boy with a life-limiting genetic condition and Epilepsy. You must be fully COVID-vaccinated. We are looking to cover 3 nights a week.

Role Requirements:

We look for Paediatric Nurses with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient and highly skilled. In order to be considered for this role, we require the following key skills:

  • Ventilation via Mask
  • Humidification
  • Oral Suctioning
  • Care and use of Gastrostomies
  • Chest Physio
  • Administration of Buccal Medication
  • Administration of Nebulisers via Ventilator
  • Epilepsy
  • Changing Gastro Buttons
