About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Sustainability Strategist to lead our organization's sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with our corporate objectives.
  • Identify sustainability risks and opportunities, focusing on responsible business practices that address environmental, social, and economic factors.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including WEEE, CSRD, and ISO 14001, while managing accurate reporting on all relevant metrics.
  • Collaborate with department managers to implement resource management strategies, such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible sourcing.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, customers, and regulators, to promote sustainability initiatives and ensure organization-wide buy-in.
Requirements:
  • A strong background and experience in sustainability, compliance, or environmental management (3-5 years in a sustainability role).
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance standards, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD, WEEE).
  • Experience with sustainability reporting tools and frameworks, such as EcoVadis and Sedex.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and proactively implement best practices.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
