Deputy Director of Operations and Performance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Operations and Performance to join our Transformation Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the delivery of high-quality, effective, and flexible patient access, clerical, and administrative services for our Screening Programme.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the front-end administration and reporting for the Patient Administration System, including working with the Regional Data Manager on national reports.
- Take appropriate action related to the maintenance of the waiting lists in line with Programme and national policies and guidelines.
- Develop and monitor systems for collection, recording, and use of patient demographics for use by Programme staff for the monitoring of activity against contracted/commissioned work, applying this information to waiting list management.
- 2+ years experience in management
- Extensive NHS experience
- Extensive working knowledge of RTT waiting list
- GCSE qualification or equivalent
- Degree or relevant experience
- Experience in Cancer or Screening
- Experience in working with external stakeholders
- Evidence of having championed diversity in previous roles (as appropriate to role).
- Evidence of having undertaken own development to improve understanding of equalities issues
