Job Summary
We are delighted to be able to provide an ideal opportunity for an interest practitioner psychologist to develop or enhance their skills in working within a community pain MDT. As a Clinical Psychology Practitioner - Community Pain Services, you will work as an independent Practitioner Psychologist with your own clinical case load, contributing to staff consultation, research, and multidisciplinary work.
About the Role
You will have gained experience in physical health settings, ideally working in pain services/pain management programmes. You should also have familiarity and commitment to working with a medical multidisciplinary team and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide high-quality specialist psychology provision to service users of the Manchester Pain services
- To conduct advanced assessment of complex chronic pain service users to determine clinical diagnosis and intervention
- To maintain accurate records as an autonomous practitioner
Requirements
We are looking for an established Clinical/Counselling/Health Psychologist (registered as Practitioner Psychologists with the HCPC) who has gained experience in physical health settings, ideally working in pain services/pain management programmes.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of £45,053 - £74,087 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, excellent pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, and wellbeing programme.
