Advanced Practice Lead in Macmillan Care

The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust's Trafford Community Macmillan Team is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of patients with complex physical, psychological, and emotional needs.
You will be responsible for providing specialist palliative care, managing a caseload of patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals from various disciplines. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting patients to live well, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions, and improving their quality of life.
We are looking for an individual with experience working at a Band 7 level, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret data. A car owner/driver is essential for this position, which involves regular travel as required.
Our trust offers a competitive salary of £46,148 to £52,809 per annum (pro rata) and a range of benefits, including opportunities for career development, education, and research.
