The successful candidate will have experience in professional services procurement, with a strong understanding of category, supplier, and contract management. They will also have excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure alignment with category strategies. You will also monitor and report on category performance, including savings, compliance, and supplier performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies to optimise cost, quality, and service levels for professional services.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Lead the sourcing process, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance management, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in professional services procurement.
  • Experience / Knowledge of category, supplier, and contract management (specifically contracts over £1m).
  • Experience of procuring and negotiating contracts.
  • Experience running end-to-end RFPs for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing procurement policy, procedures, and governance.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension matched up to 7%, life insurance, annual professional institution subscription, continuous development opportunities, and agile/flexible working arrangements.
