Role Overview

This Autism Support Assistant position is a fantastic opportunity to work with a Primary School in Croydon, providing dedicated support to a Year 1 pupil with non-verbal Autism.

About the Role

You will be working on a one-to-one basis with the pupil, supporting their educational journey and developing your skills in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). This role will commence at the start of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, individualized support to the pupil, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized education plans.
  • Provide emotional support and help build the pupil's confidence.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is between £18,750 and £19,250 per annum. Additionally, you will have access to benefits that enhance your overall well-being.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
