About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cancer Data and Compliance Manager to join our Cancer Services Team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our cancer data, while also leading on compliance and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, production, implementation, development, and maintenance of cancer registries across the Trust.
  • Work closely with clinicians to ensure robust training packages and competency documents for staff using the Trust's Cancer Registry.
  • Develop quality assurance reporting mechanisms for key cancer performance indicators and audit metrics.
  • Present findings of non-compliance to Multi-Disciplinary Teams and provide expert support for improvement.
  • Ensure the Trust produces and delivers accurate cancer monitoring pathway data by implementing robust systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of cancer services, national cancer targets, and the cancer agenda.
  • In-depth knowledge of information analysis.
  • Well-developed leadership and motivational skills.
  • Self-motivated and innovative thinker.
