Key Responsibilities:

As the Data Protection Officer for the University of East Anglia, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection obligations, including the UK GDPR. This will involve leading the Information Compliance Team and overseeing responsibilities in information compliance, Freedom of Information, Environmental Information Regulations, and Data Protection.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations
  • Ability to provide responsive and accurate advice on data protection matters
  • Experience of leading a team and managing multiple priorities
