As an Environmental Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in advising and managing the Quality and Environmental management systems, ensuring compliance with BS EN ISO 14001 and BS EN ISO 9001.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise and maintain Quality and Environmental management systems to defined standards.
* Direct auditing and monitoring activities to ensure compliance.
* Act as the primary contact for external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies.
* Lead and monitor compliance with environmental, health & safety, and quality legislation.
* Manage REACH registrations and evaluate chemical safety data sheets.
* Advise on quality assurance in manufacturing processes and vendor appraisals.
* Support new product evaluations and assess impacts on legal and permit requirements.
Requirements:
* Experience with environmental permits and regulated sites.
* Proven experience liaising with regulatory bodies.
* IEMA membership or similar regulatory compliance.
