We're seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to join our team at Monzo, driving data-driven product development and user experience improvement.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Data Scientist to make a real impact on our products and customers. As a key member of our cross-functional squads, you'll work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to supercharge our user experience.

You'll be responsible for applying your expertise in analytics and data science to build a comprehensive understanding of our customers, informing strategic decisions and product development. Your leadership skills will empower product teams to measure what matters, driving improvements in our products and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply data science and analytics expertise to develop actionable insights on customer behavior and preferences.
  • Lead and collaborate with product teams to design, implement, and analyze A/B tests, assessing the impact of product features and changes.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor product performance and inform business decisions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong grounding in SQL and Python programming languages.
  • Experience in conducting large-scale A/B experiments and analyzing results.
  • An ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
