About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is for a Data Scientist Innovation Specialist to join our AI Innovation Team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify key areas for AI-driven innovation, experimenting and optimizing Generative AI models to enhance search and analytics tools.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Breaking down complex problems into actionable AI solutions, leading Generative AI model design and development.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to identify key areas for AI-driven innovation.
  • Exploring Generative AI use cases, including automated summarization, natural language understanding, and text generation.
  • Ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices in machine learning.
  • Developing and implementing machine learning workflows, integrating GenAI with existing data infrastructure.
  • Performing continuous evaluations and improvements of models to handle large volumes of patent data.
  • Collaborating with data engineers and data scientists to integrate AI models seamlessly into the broader data architecture.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in data science, focusing on NLP, Generative AI, and LLMs.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience working with LLMs and NLP frameworks.
  • Experience with Prompt Engineering, RAG techniques, and evaluation methodologies for integrating GenAI with search/retrieval systems.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for machine learning workflows.
  • Understanding of data engineering pipelines and distributed data processing.
  • Strong analytical skills, transforming raw data into meaningful insights through AI techniques.
