About the Role:

As an Education Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and families to create a supportive environment that addresses each student's emotional and psychological needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support students with SEMH needs, helping them develop coping strategies and manage their emotions.
  2. Offer tailored support to students in and out of the classroom, ensuring they can access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.
  3. Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing positively to the school community.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education. A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection are essential, as well as the ability to satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.

The estimated salary range for this position is £22,000 - £32,000 per year, depending on experience.
