About the Role
Our Primary SEMH school in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behaviours associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of empathy, patience, and creativity. Your responsibilities will include supporting classroom teachers in lesson delivery, providing individualised support to students, and contributing to the development and implementation of EHCPs. You'll also collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent communication skills, a calm and composed demeanor, and a passion for working with children with SEMH needs and/or ASD. A background in education or a related field would be beneficial, as would experience working with similar populations.
