We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Software Developer to join our team at the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association). As an expert in risk management, you will play a crucial role in enhancing counterparty credit risk management by improving data repositories and analytical tooling for comprehensive and timely risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and controls.

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Description:

In this role, you will develop stress testing methodologies to capture tail, concentration, and liquidation risks across Global Banking & Markets counterparty portfolios. You will also aim to provide a unified platform for prime and counterparty risk management, with self-service access to data sets for adhoc queries, filters, aggregations, and management reporting capabilities to streamline stressed client management and increase risk management response efficiency in times of market volatility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline;
  • expert knowledge in one or more of the following: programming in a compiled language such as Java, C++, or Python, with experience in concurrency and memory management; responsive web development with professional React/Angular/Redux experience and advanced JavaScript proficiency; NoSQL databases such as MongoDb and Elastic Search; designing enterprise-level applications or analyzing raw data sets using Snowflake;
  • excellent object-oriented or functional analysis and design skills, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, ability to solve problems and apply analysis to make data-driven decisions;
  • 2-5 years of software development experience.
