Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team in Carlisle. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons, supporting children's individual educational journeys, and achieving key milestones.

About the Role

In this position, you will work closely with teachers to design and implement lesson plans, providing personalized support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will also contribute to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive, building strong relationships with colleagues and parents alike.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for working with young people, particularly those with SEND
  • An outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
  • A strong ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (highly desirable)

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £22,500 per annum, paid on a weekly basis. This includes statutory holiday pay. We are committed to safeguarding children and require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for all staff members. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may need to complete a new application as part of the registration process.
