The Primary School Sport and Education department aims to support schools across the city through innovative curriculums and bespoke delivery.

We oversee our Primary School Sport and Education programmes that engage and inspire children and teachers across the National Curriculum using the power of the club, football and the Premier League.

Job Description

This role involves delivering on all aspects of our Primary School Sport & Education programme, covering several areas of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, including physical education, numeracy, literacy, health and wellbeing.

You will deliver high quality lessons in different primary schools across the academic year, linking the delivery to the National Curriculum and using Premier League Primary Stars and Aston Villa branding to engage learners.

Additionally, you will support teachers to increase their confidence, knowledge and skills in delivering high quality physical education lessons.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual with the ability to create, develop and implement high quality, varied and creative educational projects and activities.

You will have demonstrable experience of working in a school and/or community sports organisation and have knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2.

Experience of delivering educational workshops within different environments and working with whole classes and small group interventions is essential.

The salary for this role is £23,500 – £26,460 per annum depending on experience.

You will work at Villa Park and various primary school locations.
