**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the development of program objectives, coordinate activities with university departments, and support the achievement of objectives set by the Program Director and/or Vice Chair of Education.

**Responsibilities**

  • Coordinate with University departments and Department of Pathology faculty to supervise undergraduate pre-medical student observers, medical student visiting rotations, UAB medical student rotations in the AAMC.
  • Manage the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities program, volunteer/observerships of medical graduates, and visiting scientists/post-docs in the clinical enterprise of both U.S. and International applicants.
  • Develop and implement onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Assist with program associated duties during times of increased effort that occur during recruitment of residents/fellows, onboarding of new trainees, and evaluation of program.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.

**Estimated Salary: $24.37 - $39.30 per hour**, depending on experience and qualifications.
