Cook Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cook Aide to join our team at Sheffield Head Start. As a key member of our food service team, you will assist the Food Service Manager in preparing meals for all classrooms and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Assist the Food Service Manager in preparing food for students and staff.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including daily cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
- Support the Food Service Manager in stocking and replenishing food inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in a food service or food preparation environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This position requires standing, bending, and lifting. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are also required.
