Cook Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cook Aide to join our team at Sheffield Head Start. As a key member of our food service team, you will assist the Food Service Manager in preparing meals for our students and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in food preparation, including meal planning and cooking.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning equipment and work areas.
- Support the Food Service Manager in daily operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in food service or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
This position requires standing, walking, and lifting, as well as working in a kitchen environment with moderate exposure to injury.
