Job Summary:

The Regional Technical Manager Subsidence and Surveying Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to the team in the areas of subsidence and building surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide training and support to team members on subsidence and building surveying best practices.

• Conduct investigations and assessments of subsidence and construction defects, and provide recommendations for repair and mitigation.

• Collaborate with loss adjusters and other stakeholders to resolve subsidence and general perils insurance claims.

• Develop and implement temporary or emergency works to ensure damaged buildings are safe and secure.

• Provide expert advice on building pathology, including asbestos and damp problems.

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in building surveying and subsidence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, structural engineering, or building surveying.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.

Reporting and Liaison:

• Reports to the Head of Subsidence and Surveying.

• Liaises with directors, associate directors, managers, loss adjusters, support staff, clients, customers, and suppliers as necessary.
