Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Are you a Mechanical Building Services Engineer looking to develop your career in a positive environment?

Our client is seeking an experienced, motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This role will be based in the Birmingham Office but presents the opportunity to join a national delivery team and work with designers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

The opportunity will require candidates to be client-facing as well as being involved in the day-to-day design of projects. The ideal individual will bring strong technical skills to the role, as well as an enquiring mind able to contribute to the growth of our digital practice.

Requirements:

  1. You should be degree qualified in Building Services Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Design and specification of all mechanical building services systems – HVAC, etc.
  3. Confident using computer software such as Hevacomp, Navisworks, NBS, and Microsoft.
  4. Able to take charge of personal project deliverables and act on your own initiative in a proactive way.
  5. Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients.
