Cameron James Professional Recruitment is assisting a well-established Professional Services business with their Human Resources needs. As an HR Assistant/Advisor, you will be responsible for providing generalist HR support to the business, including HR administration, recruitment coordination, employee queries, Learning & Development administration, and HR reporting.

This role would be ideal for candidates looking for a career in Human Resources, with a minimum of one year's experience in a similar role across the employee life cycle. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

The successful candidate will report directly to the HR Business Partner and work collaboratively as part of a team of 6. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing HR support to approximately 260 employees, including dealing with HR queries and being the first point of contact.
  • HR administration, including onboarding, offboarding, updating HR systems, organizing HR meetings, and L&D administration.
  • Supporting the business with HR best practices, policies, and processes, ensuring compliance with employment law.
  • Coordinating recruitment activities, including booking interviews, sending out interview packs, and letters.
  • Managing and updating the HR system, maintaining records, and producing monthly HR reports.
  • Supporting Learning & Development activities, including administration and updating training plans.

For this role, candidates must have exposure within a busy HR team and ideally be studying towards CIPD. In terms of salary, we estimate that the successful candidate can expect a salary range of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
