Job Summary:

Berry Smith Lawyers is seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing marketing plans and strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager to achieve business objectives and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Support: Assist the Marketing Manager in maintaining and developing the Berry Smith website, ensuring SEO optimization, and creating regular email newsletters.
  • Social Media Management: Post regular social media content and engage with followers to increase brand awareness and online presence.
  • Data Administration: Support with data administration, reporting, and analysis to inform marketing decisions.
  • Business Development Support: Assist fee-earning departments with business development activities, including developing a diary of business development events and supporting departments with agreed BD activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience of working in marketing in professional services.
  • Skills: Organized approach with good attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively within a team and independently, and a willingness to learn new skills and tools.
  • Technical Skills: Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, maintaining a marketing database, previous experience of using a CRM system, managing a website (WordPress and Hubspot), email and newsletter distribution, social media, analytics tools, and Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
