This is an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Registered Care Home Manager for their brand-new 41 bed specialist complex Care Home in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

About the Role

As a Registered Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to residents. You will have a thorough understanding of nursing care best practice, sector-specific legislation, and governance frameworks.

You will also have a commissioning background or a good understanding of commissioning new homes, including recruitment, filling beds, and managing occupancy levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of residents
  • Manage occupancy levels and recruitment processes
  • Ensure compliance with sector-specific legislation and governance frameworks

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified as a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RGN or RMN or RNLD)
  • Minimum of three years management experience, ideally in a complex care setting
  • Thorough understanding of nursing care best practice, sector-specific legislation, and governance frameworks
  • Commissioning background or good understanding of commissioning new homes
