Commercial Lawyer

This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier and business partnership agreements, and to provide guidance on marketing and promotional activity.

• Review and negotiate commercial contracts to ensure they meet the company's needs.
• Provide expert advice on marketing and promotional activity, including CAP code compliance and drafting associated terms and conditions.
• Support the e-commerce team on legal aspects of digital marketing and website operations.
• Manage wholesale contracts and concession agreements with suppliers.
• Handle general IP work, including licensing of own brands and third-party licensing.
• Assist the customer service team with customer complaints and disputes.
• Contribute to larger M&A work, including due diligence investigations and drafting SPA/APAs.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the ICO, ASA, and Trading Standards.
• Manage external lawyers on specialist work.
• Supervise junior members of the team.

• Strong experience in commercial contract negotiation.
• Qualified and able to hit the ground running with expertise in this sector.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships.
• Able to provide commercially focused, pragmatic legal advice.
