About the Role

We are seeking a talented Engineering Programme Lead to join our team at BAE Systems.

As a key member of our Submarines business, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex engineering programmes. Your primary focus will be on managing cross-functional teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project objectives.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff
  • Develop and implement systems engineering tools and practices, with a focus on requirements management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience working within an engineering function, supporting a large product
  • Excellent leadership and programme management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective systems engineering tools and practices
