Lead the Front Office Team to Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences

As our Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Front of House Team to ensure that our guests receive an exceptional experience from check-in through to check-out. You will oversee the Front Office operation to maintain high standards, ensuring effective communication, operating procedures, and training for the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the Front Office operation to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure effective communication, operating procedures, and training for the team.
  • Comply fully with Hampton by Hilton brand standards, health & safety, and fire requirements.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities within the Front of House.
  • Attend meetings as required and cascade relevant information to the team.
People Management:
  • Act as an ambassador for the hotel, company, and team members.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to all hotel departments.
  • Ensure all team members comply with our image standards, monitoring their appearance, standards, and performance.
  • Conduct team performance reviews, coach, and support the Reception Team.
  • Identify Learning & Development opportunities within your teams.
Profit:
  • Drive up-selling opportunities & revenue within the Front Office.
  • Supervise, motivate, and drive the Reception Team to achieve KPIs.
  • Maximise room occupancy and monitor room types and overbookings.
Training & Development:
  • Provide departmental induction for new team members.
  • Implement an initial training plan for new team members.
  • Provide Personal Performance Plans for all staff in the department.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience of leading and developing a team.
  • Good conflict management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with a 'can-do' attitude.
