The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Oyster's workplace culture and driving business success.
About the Role:As the HR Manager, you will oversee all HR functions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals while promoting an innovative approach to student accommodation.
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including job posting creation, candidate screening, and interview facilitation.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment by addressing workplace concerns, promoting conflict resolution, and enhancing employee engagement.
- Performance Management Systems: Design and implement performance appraisal systems to provide regular feedback, support career development, and recognize achievements.
- Training and Development Initiatives: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- HR Policy Development: Craft and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with company values and comply with legal regulations.
- Compensation and Benefits Package: Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance while enhancing employee satisfaction.
- HR Analytics: Utilize data to assess HR metrics, informing strategic decisions to drive continuous improvement in HR practices and overall employee experience.
- Culture Development: Champion initiatives that reinforce a culture of innovation, collaboration, and diversity within the organization.
- A minimum of 3 years' work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, ideally within a technology or student-focused environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for fostering talent and driving organisational growth.
- An estimated salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
