Job Role: Commercial Manager
Overview
GTS Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to support the full project lifecycle, including request for information, tendering process, contract award, contract change, contract performance, and contract closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and execute various commercial agreements and manage complex customer contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead a small commercial team and assist in departmental metrics/reporting, training, and weekly review of commercial actions, driving business growth and improvement.
- Provide day-to-day commercial and/or contract management on major defence contracts, serving as the main point of contact commercially and ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Develop and implement commercial processes and guidance, as well as commercial template documents, to support the wider business and drive commercial excellence.
Requirements
- Experience in evaluating, drafting, negotiating, closing, and managing the legal, commercial, and contractual aspects of complex contracts, with a strong understanding of commercial principles and practices.
- General understanding of import/export regulations is desirable, but not essential, as the ideal candidate will be able to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Experience of establishing and managing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to drive business growth and development.
