Dynamic Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Ward Administrator and Activities Coordinator at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients, residents, and visitors.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing various administrative duties on the ward and coordinating activities that promote social integration and emotional wellbeing. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient-centred care and create a lively and homely environment for our residents.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for undertaking reasonable administrative tasks, including but not limited to filling, organisation of admissions and discharge notes, menu and stationery ordering, booking hospital and leisure transports, updating organisation and quality boards, responding to emails relating to the ward, and support for IPC, Estates, Facilities and the ward team as needed.
You will also be required to interact with relatives and or visitors either in person or by telephone, ensuring they are aware of any future activities and events. You will work with ward managers to develop new systems and ensure good ideas and innovation are shared across all wards.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Experience in working with individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge
- Organised approach to work with high emphasis on detail and accuracy
- Able to respond flexibly to changing situations, prioritise appropriately and deal calmly with unexpected events
Working Conditions
This role is based at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Putney, Southwest London. The salary for this role is £27,000-£29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
