Production Hygiene Assistant

About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Production Hygiene Assistant to join our team at Kepak Group.
As a Production Hygiene Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness within our production environment.
This includes ensuring that all industrial machinery, tools, and equipment are cleaned to the highest standard, as well as cleaning factory floors, walls, work surfaces, and production lines within allocated areas.
You will also be responsible for safely using industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment, and maintaining and operating tools, equipment, and chemicals in a safe and efficient manner.
In addition, you will be required to adhere to cleaning instructions and schedules to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards, maintain industrial hygiene standards, and complete daily cleaning tasks and relevant documentation and checklists.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production environment
- Cleaning industrial machinery, tools, and equipment to the highest standard
- Cleaning factory floors, walls, work surfaces, and production lines within allocated areas
- Safely using industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment
- Maintaining and operating tools, equipment, and chemicals in a safe and efficient manner
- Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards
- Maintaining industrial hygiene standards
- Completing daily cleaning tasks and relevant documentation and checklists
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working within an industrial cleaning environment preferred
- Able to work in both chilled and warm environments
- Manual handling ability and awareness; must be fit and able
- Meticulous attention to detail essential
- Commitment to good practice
- Fluent in English; able to communicate well in written and oral form with multi-nationals on all levels
- Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines
- Relationship builder with influencing skills
- Strong team player
- Flexible approach to working; committed to night shifts and potential weekend working
