Job Title: Commis Chef

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Commis Chef to join our team at DO & CO Airline Catering. As a Commis Chef, you will play a key role in supporting our chefs and kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation of high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Production: Assist in the preparation and presentation of food products, ensuring consistency and quality in accordance with DO & CO standards.
  • Team Support: Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including supporting supervisors and chef de partie with tasks and responsibilities.
  • Culture and Teamwork: Foster a culture of job pride and ownership, promoting teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure attention to detail in food production, adhering to food safety regulations, labeling, and storage procedures.
  • Efficiency and Productivity: Contribute to maintaining exceptional DO & CO quality while maximizing efficiency in accordance with DO & CO regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all departments, ensuring a positive and professional service that elevates the DO & CO reputation.

  • Culinary Knowledge: Have a good understanding and working knowledge of all sections in the kitchen.
  • Previous Experience: Have previous experience in a similar role or a passion for a career in a kitchen.
  • Cooking Techniques: Possess good knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
