Data Centre Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Technical Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical infrastructure within our data centres. This position requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure the delivery of reliable and efficient technical services.
Key responsibilities include managing the operation, maintenance, and improvement of critical infrastructure within data centres to ensure high availability and reliability. The successful candidate will lead teams to deliver technical services that meet customer expectations, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:- Manage the operation, maintenance, and improvement of critical infrastructure within data centres to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Lead teams to deliver technical services that meet customer expectations, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in technical service management, preferably in a data centre or IT environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams towards common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and senior management.
- A competitive basic salary of £65,000 - £70,000 per annum.
