About the Job

We are seeking an M&E engineer to join our team at PRS. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and modifications to electrical and mechanical systems and equipment within our data centre.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the data centre environment, with experience working on critical services plant and HVAC/building services systems. They will also possess excellent technical skills, including BMS, UPS, STS, LV, HV, and HVAC systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an M&E engineer to work in a data centre role, Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary of £47,000 per annum. In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate can expect an additional payment of circa £5/6k over the course of the year due to the call-out rota.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly proactive tasks, alarm response, fault finding, maintenance, repairs, and modification of equipment.
  • Supervise operational and maintenance activities to ensure work is executed safely and suitably.
  • Be responsible for technical service delivery governance, including audit.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical Trade Qualifications or Degree Qualified.
  • Engineering mindset and experience with BMS, UPS, STS, LV, HV, and HVAC systems.
  • Industrial, data centre, or mission-critical experience.
