About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead our Stakeholder Engagement, Consultation and Communications team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering effective communications and stakeholder engagement strategies on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communications: Develop and implement communications strategies and delivery plans to engage with various stakeholders, including digital users, the media, local communities, statutory bodies, technical groups, and elected representatives.
  • Engagement and Consultation: Identify and map key stakeholders for client projects, establish engagement strategies, and deliver consultation activities, including surveys, stakeholder feedback channels, and analysis of consultation responses.
  • Client Relations: Manage relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring a high level of customer service and accurate, timely reporting.
  • Business Development: Support the growth of stakeholder engagement and communications services across AECOM, focusing on providing advice and support to teams in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
  • Project and Team Management: Manage a range of projects, project teams, and budgets, delivering on time and on budget, and supporting junior colleagues to grow.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience of delivering communications and consultation activity on projects of different sizes and scales, including major projects.
  • Experience in managing teams of different sizes and complexity, including supporting junior colleagues with their career development.
  • Strong interest and experience in industry sectors relevant to our business, including infrastructure, transport, energy, water, residential development, and commercial development.
  • Proactive and ambitious, with a keen eye for new business opportunities.
  • Excellent personal communication skills, cultural awareness, and a strong focus on inclusion and accessibility.
