Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Reed Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To align IT infrastructure strategy with organizational goals to drive business outcomes.
  • To lead infrastructure projects that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
  • To collaborate with various departments to understand and meet their IT infrastructure needs.
  • To design, implement and maintain robust and scalable IT infrastructure solutions.
  • To ensure the reliability and security of all infrastructure components.
  • To lead infrastructure upgrade projects, including hardware and software updates.
  • To collaborate with all IT colleagues to reinforce infrastructure security.
  • To stay abreast of technological advancements and integrate them into our infrastructure where beneficial.
  • To supervise and mentor the IT Support Engineer/s.
  • To delegate tasks and manage project timelines effectively.
  • To ensure good communications and a collaborative approach to work with IT team, other departments and various stakeholders.
  • To create project plans, manage resource allocation and risk.
  • To inform and implement IT policies and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Foundation degree of higher in a related field.
  • Proved experience in IT infrastructure roles focusing on Microsoft, VMware and Cisco Meraki technologies.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing migrations to Microsoft 365 (including Office 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Intune).
