Paediatric Care Consultant

At Acuity Care Group Limited, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals. Our team provides complex care packages within the persons own home, specialising in high acuity complex needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator support.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Paediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team, who has a proven track record of providing high-quality care to both adult and paediatric patients, showcasing the ability to address the unique needs of different age groups.
Job DescriptionThis is a field-based role involving regular travel across the Northwest region, as well as working from home. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the safe transition and mobilisation of our patients from hospital to home, ensuring ongoing high standards of care and safety are constantly achieved.
The role involves collaborating with our Complex Care Managers, other CNSs, ICBs, and support workers to ensure the capability and standards of service delivered by these teams are met.
Key Responsibilities- To develop the care plan and produce all clinical documents required for patient setup on our electronic system
- To monitor and audit the completion of clinical paperwork, ensuring any errors are followed up and resolved appropriately
- To review care plans as per clinical need for the client, but as a minimum annually as per CQC guidelines
- To identify areas/opportunities for your own continuing professional development and discuss these with your line manager
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying and pursuing further training, certifications, or educational opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Proven ability to adapt and thrive in various clinical settings, including hospitals, community care, and home-based care environments
- Extensive experience working in ICU, spinal care units, or with complex care patients
- Strong organisational skills with the capability to effectively schedule and manage appointments, patient visits, and other professional commitments independently
£30-35 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including 25 days annual leave, pension contributions, collaborative and supportive working environment, car allowance, and statutory maternity/paternity leave.
