**Job Description:** As a Paediatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care and outcomes in the Paediatric Emergency Department.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop your skills and experience in a multidisciplinary setting. You will be responsible for providing support and care for patients with physical health needs, undertaking assigned tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.

About the Role:

  • Support and care for patients with physical health needs within a multidisciplinary setting
  • Assist in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant healthcare field (e.g., BTEC or NVQ level)
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working in A&E and with paediatric patients

Estimated Salary Range: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum based on a 37.5-hour week and assuming 20 hours of weekend shifts per week.
