Paediatric Nurse Practitioner

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Primary Care 24. As a key member of our urgent care service, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and providing advice, care and management to children and young people presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness.

You will work autonomously, demonstrating clinical reasoning, critical thinking and advanced practice skills, supported by GP colleagues in the Urgent Care Centre based on site at Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose children and young people presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness
  • Provide advice, care and management to patients and their families
  • Work autonomously, demonstrating advanced practice skills and clinical reasoning
  • Maintain excellent professional working relationships with hospital, primary care and wider stakeholder colleagues
Requirements:
  • Full NMC Registration with no restrictions
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, or equivalent level of practice evidenced through a recognised credentialing process
  • Non-Medical Prescriber – V300
  • Clinical Examination and Diagnostics Level 7
  • Extensive senior paediatric experience within the emergency care / urgent care / acute hospital / or primary care settings

Salary Estimate:
