The Transformation Unit is currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, including booking patients from the waiting list and maximising clinic utilisation.


This is a key role within the Programme, and the successful candidate will work closely with the Specialty Screening Practitioner to ensure that all patients requiring bowel screening are booked appropriately.


The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and data, and for participating in the training and induction of new staff.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme
  • Book patients from the waiting list and maximise clinic utilisation
  • Work closely with the Specialty Screening Practitioner to ensure that all patients requiring bowel screening are booked appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records and data
  • Participate in the training and induction of new staff

Requirements:



  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office package knowledge
  • Experience in a similar role
